About Us

I’m Tausha “Tee” Orakwue, founder of Tee’s Bees.

I grew up in Mississippi, where my connection to the land began long before Tee’s Bees. My grandfather raised livestock, and my grandmother and her family always kept gardens. I grew up seeing the land as something to tend, enjoy, and care for—and seeing that making things with your own hands was simply part of life.

Years later, that same instinct followed me to the Texas Hill Country. I began keeping bees, tending a garden, and paying closer attention to the rhythms of the land around me. Tee’s Bees grew naturally from that life.

What began at home is still at the heart of the brand today: useful things, thoughtfully made, an appreciation for good ingredients, and the belief that simple things made well can feel like a small luxury.
